Improved Hire Purchasing / Financing System for Farming Simulator 25

This version expands and refines the original hire purchasing system with a more complete, realistic finance experience.

Major improvements include:

• Added multiple finance plan options with different deposit amounts, APR rates, and balloon payment choices.

• Improved finance term display with clearer year/month formatting.

• Added a detailed finance management screen showing:

  • Plan type

  • Current agreement status

  • Monthly payment

  • APR

  • Payment progress

  • Final/balloon payment

  • Remaining balance

  • Early settlement cost

• Added delinquency tracking with increasing late-payment surcharges.

• Late payments now build through multiple stages before repossession.

• Added a repossession grace period, allowing the player one final opportunity to settle the agreement.

• Repossessed vehicles are automatically sold if the agreement is not cured during the grace period.

• Repossession sale proceeds now correctly handle both surplus refunds and remaining shortfalls.

• Added clear finance status information to the vehicle information screen.

• Added actual “next payment” values, including any applicable late surcharge.

• Added manual payment support so players can make an upcoming payment early.

• Manual payments correctly advance the agreement and can clear delinquency.

• Final balloon payments can also be paid manually.

• Repossessed agreements cannot use manual payments and must be resolved through early settlement.

• Improved early settlement confirmation with remaining balance, settlement amount, balloon amount, current farm balance, and projected balance after settlement.

• Added a combined monthly finance summary showing payments, late agreements, repossessions, and completed agreements.

• Improved save/load handling so delinquency and repossession states persist correctly after reloading a save.

• Fixed completed agreements so zero-balloon finance plans end immediately without an unnecessary extra month.

• Improved finance totals so repossessed agreements no longer incorrectly contribute to the active monthly-payment total.

• Cleaned up UI wording and status labels for better readability.

• Completed a full GIANTS Test Runner validation with all checks passing.

Overall, this update turns the finance system into a much more complete hire-purchase experience with better payment control, clearer information, realistic delinquency handling, and improved save game reliability.
